This site aims to conform to JIS X 8341-3:2016 (equivalent to ISO/IEC 40500:2012 and WCAG 2.1) Level AA.
Scope
All pages under the infrayo.com domain.
Goals
- Level AA conformance with JIS X 8341-3:2016 / WCAG 2.1
- Full operability by keyboard alone, including the mobile menu
- A visible focus indicator that is never removed
- Body text contrast of at least 4.5 : 1
- Correct heading order and landmark structure for screen readers
- Reduced-motion preferences respected
Implementation notes
The site is hand-written semantic HTML with a single stylesheet and no JavaScript. The mobile menu uses a native <details> disclosure rather than script, so it works with the keyboard and with assistive technology by default. Each page begins with a skip link to the main content, and the current page is marked with aria-current in both the desktop and the mobile navigation.
Known exceptions
Web fonts are loaded from a third-party service; if that request fails, pages fall back to system fonts, which may alter line lengths. The headshot placeholder is decorative and hidden from assistive technology until a real image replaces it.
How this is verified
Pages are checked with axe DevTools and Lighthouse before publication, followed by a manual keyboard-only pass and a check at narrow viewport widths.
